Grammar Latin Program

Grade: High School

Tutor: John Cho

Format: Conducted in real-time through virtual sessions, our course encourages active participation and collaboration with the tutor and peers.

Prerequisites: None

Duration: 80 class hours

Course Description

Our Grammar Latin program is designed for students comfortable with mastering Latin using the time-honored grammar translation method. We present grammar deductively, reinforcing concepts through translations, oral exercises, and compositions. Unlike reading-based programs that offer simplified Latin to beginners, we introduce students to original Latin sentences by Roman authors from the start, integrating real translation practice with each grammar lesson. Ideal for analytical minds, our program completes the curriculum in just 80 class hours, compared to the typical 150 hours for high school and college students. This rigorous grammar-focused approach ensures readiness for international contests requiring extensive knowledge of Latin's grammatical intricacies.

Key Features
