Winners of the 2024 National Latin Vocabulary Exam (NLVE)
We at Emerson Latin are happy to share news regarding the results of this year’s contest. The NLVE is divided into six categories based on the number of years the student has been taking Latin. It tests a student’s knowledge of Latin vocabulary, with emphasis on word forms and linguistic endings, that are commonly used by Roman authors and poets and that frequently appear on the AP Latin and other high level exams. The following is the breakdown of the awards for the 2024 contest:
