From time to time, I send word of what is happening here: a new essay, a course opening, a student's result worth noting.

Four things, and nothing else:

• A new essay on Latin, classical education, and its bearing on the present, roughly every week or two.
• Notice of new and forthcoming courses.
• Commendations: a list of students who have placed in recent contests.
• Laurels: a closer look at one student's individual accomplishment.

I write infrequently and with intention. You may withdraw at any time.
