Admissions Common Doubts IX of XI

What if my child falls behind, or doesn’t like it?

The short answer: Then we act early: the recordings, a short video answer, a change of course if needed, and a refund policy stated plainly.

The first sign usually appears in the certamen, the quick round of questions that opens every class. A student who is falling behind hesitates there before anywhere else, so it is noticed early, not at the end of term.

What follows depends on the cause. Often it is one grammar point that did not settle, and the remedy is the recording of that class and a short video made for the question. Sometimes a student has been placed in a course that moves too fast or too slowly, and we suggest a different one. Sometimes the timing of the term is wrong, and we say so.

And sometimes Latin simply does not suit a particular child at a particular moment. That happens, and nobody is at fault. Our refund policy is the standard used by academies in Korea, set out plainly in our FAQs, so a family knows from the start exactly what happens if they leave.

We would rather tell you early and honestly than keep a student who is unhappy.
